Craft Club 2012 has some new stitches at the Chamber Building. We have some new people interested in crafts and sewing this year. So, be sure to join in when when you can at our upcoming events. I will be at the Craft Fair / Design Show on March 10th.

In 2011 the Westside Craft Club will monthly workshops on the last Sunday at the Orlo Vista Chamber of Commerce. During the workshops drinks and snacks will be provided by Mary Klos. Check here for special upcoming workshops.

We will be doing scrap-booking, Cookbooks and Sewing throughout the year.
General Objectives of the Craft Club:

1. Be self-sufficient -- all must provide their own supplies for personal projects. Projects to help the community such as quilts and other items can be worked on by members along with personal projects.

2. Fund raising -- As a fundraiser for the Orlo Vista Chamber of Commerce members can contribute any recipe they prefer along with name of the person who submitted recipe. The recipes will go in a cookbook to help benefit Orlo Vista Chamber of Commerce and the community.

3. Instruction -- sheets for projects will be available to members when they come to the regular Orlo Vista Chamber of Commerce meetings held on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.

4. Attendance: A minimum of at least four or more members must attend the workshop in order to have a workshop at the Orlo Vista Chamber of Commerce.

If anyone would like to have a workshop for scrap-booking they can email me at My Email and set up a time for a workshop. The newsletter for Westside Craft Club will be published on a quarterly basis and available at the regular meetings of the Orlo Vista Chamber of Commerce.

The purpose is to consolidate and organize materials while the new members can discovery what we we have to utilize for future craft classes This will help us to see what we ca sell at the upcoming Craft Fair March 10th, 9 AM - 2 PM.}
